Langlade County Youth Conservation Awareness Contest (posted January 23, 2025)
Author: Audrey Gossett
The poster and speaking contest is an annual event that was created to educate and inspire children about conservation and environmental concepts.

This year's county poster contest was held on January 16, 2025. Langlade County had 10 poster submissions in three different divisions; the divisions entered were: K-1, 2-3, and 4-6. Each student was able to create their own poster with the theme "Home is Where the Habitat Is" using their choice of media. The posters were judged anonymously, and the three winners will be moving on to the North Central Land and Water Conservation Association (NCLWCA) Area Poster Contest in Portage County on January 30th.

Contest winners (left to right): Vivian Koeppel, Lily Koeppel, and Stella Koeppel
