Part-Time Administrative Coordinator - Langlade County is seeking a Part-Time Administrative Coordinator approximately 20 hours per week, not to exceed 1200 hours annually, to perform the functions and duties as specified in Section 59.19, Wisconsin Statutes, and to perform other legally permissible and proper duties and functions as the County Board shall from time to time assign either directly or through its Executive Committee. Successful candidates must be self-motivated, detail oriented, and interested in working in a cooperative, innovative, fast-paced team environment.

Legal Secretary - This position provides skilled legal secretarial services and assistance to the Office of Corporation Counsel.  This position performs work of a complex nature requiring the exercise of independent judgment.  This position is responsible to protect and maintain confidential and privileged information, including but not limited to:  negotiations, bargaining, personnel matters, legal advice and strategy, and protected health information.

Social Worker OR Social Worker Tech - Langlade County is recruiting for a full-time (37.5 hours a week) Social Worker or Social Worker Tech position in Child Protective Services. The purpose of this position is to provide community assessments for child abuse and neglect cases following Wis. State Statutes and Standards. Provide on-going services to families with unsafe children. Provide services for uncontrollable, truant, and delinquent youth. Develop and monitor performance contracts with providers. Provide after-hours Chapter 48 and 938 emergency access. Provide Juvenile Court Intake services. Coordinate foster home program. Facilitate independent living program. Coordinate Kinship Care Program. Document all case contacts within the eWISACWIS state reporting system.

Social Worker Aide - Langlade County is recruiting for a full-time (35 hours a week) Social Worker Aide position in Child Protective Services. The Social Worker Aide position works directly with clients and CFS (Children and Family Services) case managers. This position will require the ability to work individually and with small groups of clients on tasks including but not limited to; money management, parenting skills, personal hygiene, nutrition, housing, safety services, and supervising family interactions.

Corrections Officer – $5,000 Sign-On Bonus - Do you like working as part of a fast-paced team? Do you like multi-tasking? Are you looking for a wide range of tasks throughout the day? Do you want to be part of an integral team responsible for the safety of the inmates under the supervision of the Langlade County Sheriff’s Office? If so, the Langlade County Corrections Officer is a position for you! A Corrections Officer works with immediate supervision of the Jail Sergeant and works directly with the prisoners under the requirements of the State Statutes and Policy and Procedures provided by the Office. The Langlade County Jail is staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including nights, weekends and holidays. The corrections officer(s) on duty is responsible for several duties during various shift schedules. Corrections Officers maintain the Jail for safety and security of all staff and inmates 24 hours a day. Corrections Officers are to maintain all Office equipment in a clean, neat manner, keeping it presentable to the public at all times. On duty Corrections Officers also perform other tasks or duties as they are requested, assigned and needed.

911 Emergency Dispatcher - Langlade County is seeking candidates for a full-time Emergency Dispatcher within the Sheriff’s Office. The Langlade County Dispatch Center is manned 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The dispatcher(s) on duty is responsible for several duties during various assigned shifts. These are not to be construed as exclusive or all-inclusive. They shall at all times maintain a clean, neat and proper appearance. Maintain the Sheriff’s Office headquarters and all equipment in a clean, neat manner, keeping it presentable to the public at all times. They shall perform such other tasks or duties as they are requested, assigned and needed.
