A Corrections Officer works with immediate supervision of the Jail Sergeant and works directly with the prisoners under the requirements of the State Statutes and Policy and Procedures provided by the Office. The Langlade County Jail is staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including nights, weekends and holidays. The corrections officer(s) on duty is responsible for several duties during various shift schedules. Corrections Officers maintain the Jail for safety and security of all staff and inmates 24 hours a day. Corrections Officers are to maintain all Office equipment in a clean, neat manner, keeping it presentable to the public at all times.
