Director of Facilities Management - Directs, plans, and administers the comprehensive operations, asset protection, and maintenance programs for all County-owned buildings, grounds, parking lots, and associated infrastructure. Serves as the primary project manager for County construction, space planning, and facility renovations. Formulates departmental policy, manages capital and operational budgets, and provides strategic leadership to maintenance and custodial personnel.

Maintenance Worker - Under the general supervision of the Director of Facilities Management, performs routine and semi-skilled facilities maintenance, structural repairs, groundskeeping, and custodial tasks. Focuses on maintaining clean, safe, and fully operational County-owned facilities, responding to building service requests, and executing seasonal maintenance tasks.

Highway Worker (Operator I) - Do you like making a difference in the community you live in? Do you like working outside? Do you like having a variety of tasks that change with the seasons? Do you like 3-day weekends?  The Langlade County Highway Worker is the position for you! Responsibilities include operating a dump truck to plow snow and haul materials, manual labor associated with the road construction and maintenance and potentially operating a skid steer, grader, and front-end loader.

Deputy Clerk of Courts - Assists the Clerk of Circuit Court in managing and coordinating the civil, criminal, small claims, traffic, family, and jury operations of the Langlade County Circuit Court. This role ensures the integrity of the judicial system by receiving, processing, and preserving official court records, while providing procedural support to legal professionals, agency partners, and the general public.

Emergency Dispatcher - Do you like working as part of a fast-paced team? Do you like multi-tasking? Are you looking for a wide range of tasks throughout the day? Do you want to be part of an integral team responsible for dispatching the appropriate staff, police, fire, medical, or other emergency units in a citizen’s time of need? If so, the Langlade County Emergency Dispatcher is a position for you! This position works directly with law enforcement and fire/EMS personnel. This fast-paced position is part of the Langlade County Dispatch Center and is manned 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The dispatchers on duty are responsible for dispatching the appropriate staff, police, fire, medical, or other emergency units.

Social Worker Aide - Langlade County is recruiting for a full-time (35 hours a week) Social Worker Aide position in Child Protective Services. The Social Worker Aide position works directly with clients and CFS (Children and Family Services) case managers. This position will require the ability to work individually and with small groups of clients on tasks including but not limited to; money management, parenting skills, personal hygiene, nutrition, housing, safety services, and supervising family interactions.

Social Worker - Part-Time - Langlade County is recruiting for a part-time (28 hours a week) Social Worker position in Child Protective Services. The purpose of this position is to provide community assessments for child abuse and neglect cases following Wis. State Statutes and Standards. Provide ongoing services to families with unsafe children. Provide services for uncontrollable, truant, and delinquent youth.  Develop and monitor performance contracts with providers. Provide after-hours Chapter 48 and 938 emergency access. Provide Juvenile Court Intake services.  Coordinate foster home program. Facilitate an independent living program.  Coordinate Kinship Care Program. Document all case contacts within the eWISACWIS state reporting system.
