GIS Technician or GIS Coordinator - Langlade County is hiring for a full-time GIS Technician or GIS Coordinator. The primary responsibility of this position is maintaining and revising parcel maps, and other maps, in a computer environment. The mapping will be developed for the Langlade County Geographic Information System (GIS). This position will work closely with the Land Information Officer and Real Property Lister.

Social Work Supervisor - Langlade County is recruiting for a full-time (40 hours a week) Social Work Supervisor position in Child Protective Services. The position performs professional work supervising service programs, training and supervising social work and paraprofessional staff, assigning cases and managing caseloads, overseeing records and file preparation and maintenance, preparing reports and related work as apparent or assigned. The Social Work Supervisor works under the general direction of the Director of Health and Social Services.

Highway Worker - Langlade County is seeking candidates for a full-time Highway Worker within the Highway Department. This is an entry-level position with potential for advancement in other positions within the Highway Department. The essential functions of this position consist of manual labor, truck driving and snowplowing. Knowledge of heavy equipment and maintenance is desirable. Potential candidates must possess a valid Commercial Driver’s License with endorsement B, prior to employment, and must obtain class A and tanker endorsement’s within six (6) months of employment.

Conservation Specialist - Langlade County is recruiting for a full-time (35 hours a week) Conservation Specialist position to support the Land Conservationist. This position assists the Conservationist in the implementation of the Langlade County Land & Water Resource Management Plan, with a particular focus on providing technical assistance to landowners for cost-share conservation projects for the County.

Administrative Assistant Forestry, Parks and Rec - Langlade County is seeking candidates for a full-time (35 hours/week) Administrative Assistant – Forestry, Parks, and Rec within the Forestry, Parks and Recreation Department. This position provides clerical support to the Forestry, Parks and Recreation Department. This position will perform receptionist and general clerical work under the supervision of the Office Manager and Forestry, Parks and Recreation Administrator. This individual will need to exercise independent judgment while transacting with the public.

Seasonal Campground and Park Worker - This position reports to the Facilities, Parks and Campground Program manager or other supervisors as assigned. Temporary/Seasonal up to 40 hours per week from early Spring to mid-to-late Fall. Work schedules may vary for highly qualified candidates. This position is responsible for the daily tasks of maintaining Langlade County campgrounds, parks and recreational areas. This includes, but is not limited to: collection of fees, accounting for sales, operation of reservation systems, responding to customer concerns, issues or complaints, providing direction to Seasonal Campground and Park Workers and Laborers and completion of raking, mowing, emptying trash containers, cleaning park and campground facilities, painting, etc.
