Contracted Court Commissioner - Langlade County is seeking a contracted Court Commissioner position expected to work 4 days per week, or a combination of Court Commissioners to cover 4 days per week. Contract for services in the amount of $6,666.66 per month. The scope of services under this Contract include all of the duties of a Court Commissioner as set forth in Section 757.69, Wis. Stats., all of the duties of a Director of Family Court Services (Family Court Commissioner) as set forth in Sections 767.405 & 767.675, Wis. Stats., and any other duties as assigned by the Circuit Court Judge and/or the Chief Judge of the 9th Judicial District. The actual services provided under this Contract may vary depending upon the delegation of authority, the assignment of duties by the Circuit Court Judge, and disqualifications (Sec. 757.23, Wis. Stats.). The work performed by the Commissioner under this Contract shall be performed in accordance with all applicable laws and rules, including but not limited to: the Wisconsin Supreme Court Rules, and the Civil Rights Act.

The Child Support Specialist is responsible for establishing paternity, and establishing and enforcing court-ordered child support obligations and on-going case management activities. Campground Host - This position will reside in their own camping unit in an assigned host site in either Jack Lake Campground or Perch Lake Campground for the entire camping season. The host must be able to commit to working from 8:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday of each week from May 15, 2025 through September 21, 2025, including at least 18 of the 20 weekends, including holidays, within that time frame.
In exchange for free designated camping, the Campground Host is expected to be onsite overnight at the host site on all scheduled workdays to provide hospitality and information to other campers including but not limited to assisting with campground reservations, management of campsite tags, check-in and check-out of registered campers, sale of firewood from the host site. The host also monitors the campground for disturbances, advises campers of campground rules and regulations and contacts police, fire, rescue or the Forestry, Parks and Recreation Administrator when issues require more detailed attention. In addition, completing cleaning and housekeeping of all parks and campground facilities including restrooms, pavilions and cabins during scheduled. Upon completion of cleaning and housekeeping duties, the host will clean and prepare all vacant campsites for future occupancy and complete grounds maintenance of campground areas including lawn mowing, raking of beach areas, weed trimming, collection and disposal of sticks and leaves, and inspections for safety, including identification and reporting of maintenance needs including dangerous trees or limb, tripping hazards or other items of concern. Part Time Social Worker - Langlade County is recruiting for a part-time (28 hours a week) Social Worker position in Child Protective Services. The purpose of this position is to provide community assessments for child abuse and neglect cases following Wis. State Statutes and Standards. Provide ongoing services to families with unsafe children. Provide services for uncontrollable, truant, and delinquent youth. Develop and monitor performance contracts with providers. Provide after-hours Chapter 48 and 938 emergency access. Provide Juvenile Court Intake services. Coordinate foster home program. Facilitate an independent living program. Coordinate Kinship Care Program. Document all case contacts within the eWISACWIS state reporting system.

Administrative Assistant Maintenance/Forestry - Langlade County is seeking candidates for a part-time (24 hours/week) Administrative Assistant – Maintenance and Forestry, Parks, and Rec within the Forestry, Parks and Recreation Department. This position provides clerical support to the Maintenance and Forestry and Recreation Departments. This position will perform receptionist and general clerical work under the supervision of the Director of Facilities Management and Office Manager. This individual will need to exercise independent judgment while transacting with the public.
