| Highway Worker - Langlade County is seeking candidates for a full-time Highway Worker within the Highway Department. This is an entry-level position with potential for advancement in other positions within the Highway Department. The essential functions of this position consist of manual labor, truck driving and snowplowing. Knowledge of heavy equipment and maintenance is desirable. Potential candidates must possess a valid Commercial Driver’s License with endorsement B, prior to employment, and must obtain class A and tanker endorsement’s within six (6) months of employment.

The purpose of this position determines eligibility for all Economic Support programs including Medicaid, Badgercare, Food Share, CareTaker Supplement, and Child Care assistance. Interviews customers, collects data, and computes budgets; records and documents information; accesses, prepares and inputs all data into the statewide computer processing systems. This position works in an office and call center work environment.

| Financial Program Assistant - Langlade County is seeking a Financial/Program Assistant to assist the Child Support Department at Langlade County. The Financial Program Assistant is responsible for entering information in the Kids Information Data System (KIDS) consistent with all applicable policies and regulations. This position is also responsible to process information received by the Agency and prepare the information as directed in a manner consistent with all applicable policies and regulations (i.e., for use in paternity establishment; setting and enforcing child support orders; collection of other case-related expenses, etc.).

This position performs receptionist and general clerical work under general guidance from the Health Officer, while also exercising independent judgment in transactions with the public.
