Office Manager - Langlade County is seeking candidates for a full-time (40 hours/week) Office Manager – Forestry, Parks, and Rec within the Forestry, Parks and Recreation Department. This position is responsible/coordinates office activities as directed by the Forest Administrator, and directing the work of other clerical office staff as needed. The work of this position involves the performance of relatively complex bookkeeping, record keeping, computer work, clerical tasks, and timber sale administrative duties related to keeping financial accounts and records. This position is responsible for administering various recreational grant programs.

Legal Secretary - This position provides skilled legal secretarial services and assistance to the Office of Corporation Counsel.  This position performs work of a complex nature requiring the exercise of independent judgment.  This position is responsible to protect and maintain confidential and privileged information, including but not limited to:  negotiations, bargaining, personnel matters, legal advice and strategy, and protected health information.

Human Resources Director - Langlade County is seeking applicants for a Full-Time (40 hours per week) Human Resources Director.   The HR Director is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing countywide human resource policies, programs, and services. This position provides direction and leadership in the areas of recruitment, employee relations, labor relations, benefits administration, compensation, training, safety, compliance, and organizational development. The HR Director ensures compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws, including Wisconsin employment statutes, administrative rules, and collective bargaining requirements.

Social Worker OR Social Worker Tech - Langlade County is recruiting for a full-time (37.5 hours a week) Social Worker or Social Worker Tech position in Child Protective Services. The purpose of this position is to provide community assessments for child abuse and neglect cases following Wis. State Statutes and Standards. Provide on-going services to families with unsafe children. Provide services for uncontrollable, truant, and delinquent youth. Develop and monitor performance contracts with providers. Provide after-hours Chapter 48 and 938 emergency access. Provide Juvenile Court Intake services. Coordinate foster home program. Facilitate independent living program. Coordinate Kinship Care Program. Document all case contacts within the eWISACWIS state reporting system.

Youth Justice Worker - Langlade County is recruiting for a full-time (37.5 hours a week) Youth Justice Worker. The purpose of this position is to provide supervision and coordination of services provided on behalf of juveniles and their families when a juvenile is referred to Juvenile Court for activities that are in conflict with the law. Serves as a liaison between the Juvenile Court and such entities as law enforcement, schools and other agencies/committees concerned with juvenile crime.

Social Worker Aide - Langlade County is recruiting for a full-time (35 hours a week) Social Worker Aide position in Child Protective Services. The Social Worker Aide position works directly with clients and CFS (Children and Family Services) case managers. This position will require the ability to work individually and with small groups of clients on tasks including but not limited to; money management, parenting skills, personal hygiene, nutrition, housing, safety services, and supervising family interactions.

Director of Social Services - Langlade County is seeking candidates for a full-time Director of Social Services within the Social Services Department. Under the direction of the County Administrator, and the Social Services and Veterans Committee, the Director provides for the integration of administration of all DSS programs and services. The department includes Child Protective Services, Youth Justice, Economic Support, and Energy Assistance. The Director is subject to such delegation of authority as is consistent with Wisconsin State Statutes 46, 48 and 938 and the rules and regulations promulgated by Wisconsin Department of Children and Families, and the policies and procedures of Langlade County.
