Finance Director - Langlade County is seeking a full-time 40-hour-per-week Finance Director. This position is responsible to direct and coordinate the overall planning, organizing, directing and controlling of the county-wide financial accounting functions. Directly responsible for all County financial reports and consolidation of information. Prepares analysis and helps formulate recommendations on automating accounting systems and development of the annual budget. Assists the Administrative/Finance Committee, County Board Chairman, County Administrator and Department Heads with financial matters as required.

Social Worker OR Social Worker Tech - Langlade County is recruiting for a full-time (37.5 hours a week) Social Worker or Social Worker Tech position in Child Protective Services. The purpose of this position is to provide community assessments for child abuse and neglect cases following Wis. State Statutes and Standards. Provide on-going services to families with unsafe children. Provide services for uncontrollable, truant, and delinquent youth. Develop and monitor performance contracts with providers. Provide after-hours Chapter 48 and 938 emergency access. Provide Juvenile Court Intake services. Coordinate foster home program. Facilitate independent living program. Coordinate Kinship Care Program. Document all case contacts within the eWISACWIS state reporting system.

Highway Worker - Langlade County is seeking candidates for a full-time Highway Worker within the Highway Department. This is an entry-level position with potential for advancement in other positions within the Highway Department. The essential functions of this position consist of manual labor, truck driving and snowplowing. Knowledge of heavy equipment and maintenance is desirable. Potential candidates Must possess and maintain a valid CDL with A & B endorsements or be willing to obtain and maintain a valid CDL. CDL training is available through Langlade County with a 2-year service commitment.
