Emergency Dispatcher - $5000 Sign-On Bonus - Do you like working as part of a fast-paced team? Do you like multi-tasking? Are you looking for a wide range of tasks throughout the day? Do you want to be part of an integral team responsible for dispatching the appropriate staff, police, fire, medical, or other emergency units in a citizen’s time of need? If so, the Langlade County Emergency Dispatcher is a position for you! This position works directly with law enforcement and fire/EMS personnel. This fast-paced position is part of the Langlade County Dispatch Center and is manned 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The dispatchers on duty are responsible for dispatching the appropriate staff, police, fire, medical, or other emergency units.

IT Network Administrator - Langlade County is recruiting for a full-time (40 hours a week) Network Administrator. Under the direct supervision of the IT Director, responsible for the evaluation, implementation, maintenance, troubleshooting, analysis, and support for all aspects of personal computers & software in all county departments and provides network infrastructure support for the county’s voice communication system, local area networks, and enterprise network.  In the event of a natural or man-made disaster that may threaten the area, the employee will be required to perform emergency duties as directed.

Campground Host -  
Langlade County is seeking candidates for a volunteer Campground Host for both our Jack Lake and Perch Lake Campgrounds within the Forestry and Recreation Department. The Host provides hospitality and information to other campers and park visitors and supplements staff coverage and maintenance of the Campground, in exchange for a free campsite, firewood and amenities during their stay. Preferred term of service shall run a minimum of 4 weeks (minimum 3 hours a day, 5 days a week), longer terms and work hours may be considered as necessary. Hours of work will include weekends, evenings, and holidays.

Part Time Social Worker - Langlade County is recruiting for a part-time (28 hours a week) Social Worker position in Child Protective Services. The purpose of this position is to provide community assessments for child abuse and neglect cases following Wis. State Statutes and Standards. Provide ongoing services to families with unsafe children. Provide services for uncontrollable, truant, and delinquent youth. Develop and monitor performance contracts with providers. Provide after-hours Chapter 48 and 938 emergency access. Provide Juvenile Court Intake services. Coordinate foster home program. Facilitate an independent living program. Coordinate Kinship Care Program. Document all case contacts within the eWISACWIS state reporting system.

Forestry, Parks & Recreation Part-Time Work Opportunities - 2023 - The Langlade County Forestry, Parks and Recreation Department, 1633 Neva Road, Antigo, Wisconsin is seeking part-time workers for the fall of 2023 from August through November. These part time workers will complete a variety of tasks as assigned which may include lawnmowing, raking and grounds keeping at parks and campgrounds, cleaning of restrooms, pavilions, buildings and cabins.

Real Property Lister - Langlade County is recruiting for a full-time (35 hours a week) Real Property Lister position to support the Land Records Department. The responsibilities of this position include maintenance of legal property descriptions and related information for the purpose of assessment and tax rolls as defined in Wis. Stats. Section 70.09. Coordinates tax related information for entry into the computer and supplies information to municipal assessors, clerks, treasurers, state and federal agencies, title companies, attorneys, banks and real estate agencies.
