Corrections Officer - Under the immediate supervision of the Jail Lieutenant and works directly with the prisoners under the requirements of the State Statutes and Policy and Procedures provided by the department.  The Langlade County Jail is manned 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.  The corrections officer(s) on duty is responsible for several duties during various shift schedules. They shall at all times maintain a clean, neat and proper uniform and appearance.  Maintain the Department Headquarters and all Department equipment in a clean, neat manner, keeping it presentable to the public at all times.  They shall further keep all squad cars used by them in a state of readiness and in a clean and presentable condition.  They shall perform such other tasks or duties as they are requested, assigned and needed.

Public Health Nurse - Langlade County is recruiting for a full-time (35 hours a week) Public Health Nurse position in the Health Department.  The Public Health Nurse collaborates with other professionals, organizations and community groups to provide population-based interventions to promote and protect the health of the community

911 Dispatcher/Telecommunicator - Dispatchers answer emergent and non-emergent telephone and radio calls and disseminate information to Law, Fire, and EMS along with public within the County.

Human Resources Generalist/Back-up Payroll Specialist - Langlade County is recruiting for a full-time (35 hours a week) Human Resources Generalist.  This position administers of all County Human Resource functions and duties in accordance with the federal and state laws including but not limited to, benefits, employee handbook, union contracts, recruitment, safety coordination, employee trainings and personnel policies. The position will provide back-up assistance to the payroll.
