CARING FOR OUR SHORES
Due to the shared nature of our lakes and streams, building in shoreland areas requires specially tailored rules and regulations that can be source of confusion. Recognizing that, the Langlade County Land Records and Regulations Department maintains an informational guide titled "Caring for Our Shores." This document is in a continuous state of revision, but is periodically published and printed.
Listed below are two versions of the guide, the most recently published version, and the most recent draft. These documents are intended to be accurate, but are not a substitute for guidance from department staff. If you notice something that appears to be inaccurate or unclear, especially in the "Revised" version please bring it to the attention of on of the Land Records Department staff members.
