Within Langlade County, there are four public restoration sites that provide examples of native plant shoreline restorations.  Feel free to visit and explore these sites to familiarize yourself with what a restoration could look like.  Be sure to look for the three layers of vegetation present (trees, shrubs, and groundcover) as well as the diverse number of species growing.  Perhaps you’ll even see some wildlife utilizing these rehabilitated areas!
