Cost Share Opportunities
If you live around a lake or river we could help cost share assistance under a different grant called Healthy Lakes and Rivers. Examples of projects that qualify for support for this grant are listed below:
Create fish and wildlife habitat
- Native planting along shoreline
- Prevent runoff from entering the lake (Diversion)
- Rock infiltration
- Rain garden
Cost shared restorations typically extend 35 feet landwards of the Ordinary High Water Mark for the entirety of the property, with an allowable 30 foot wide view and access corridor. Anticipate planting densities of about 1 tree, 2 shrubs, and 25 groundcover plugs per 100 square feet.
Please contact the Langlade County Land Records office to learn if this program is a good fit for your property!
