Overview
The use of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) is to store geographic related data. Displaying a map and some of its layers is one of the ways which a GIS system can be used to examine a part of the data. We make every effort to ensure the accuracy of this data. The GIS system online however is not to be used for legal purposes, is not survey grade and has locations where some degree of error takes place. NEW! Langlade County uses
hosting service from Schneider Geospatial, LLC for our public facing website. The Beacon portal for Langlade County, WI went LIVE on November 20, 2023. Prior to this, Langlade County utilized an interactive mapping website through Applied Data Consultants known as the WebGuide Xtreme portal. The WebGuide Xtreme portal is no longer being updated with the most current information and has officially been retired as of December 31. 2023. Land Information Plan
The Langlade County 2025-2027 Land Information Plan was approved after review by the Land Information Council.
