Email Migration to Microsoft 365 – What County Employees Need to Know:

Effective Date:
  • The County’s email system is migrating to Microsoft 365 starting Friday, June 28 at 1:00 PM.
Key Points:
  • Your email address is NOT changing – you will still use your @co.langlade.wi.us address.
  • Email access will be limited to https://outlook.office.com from Friday at 1:00pm until Monday at 8:00am.
    • If you are running into issues logging into email on a shared computer, try launching the above link from incognito mode in your web browser.
  • You will use your County (Active Directory) computer login and password to access email.
    • This is the same password used to log in to County computers, VPN, JMS, RMS, or CAD.
  • Starting Monday at 8:00am, use the DeploymentPro setup instructions below to access email on your computer.
Important for Mobile Users:
  • If you check email on your phone, it will stop working after the migration unless you:
  1. Contact IT to set up Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) using the Cisco DUO app.
  2. Provide a cell phone number so instructions can be sent to you.
Active Directory Accounts:
  • If you log in to a County computer, VPN, JMS, RMS, or CAD — you already have an Active Directory (AD) account.
  • If you don’t log in to any of these systems, contact IT. You may need a password reset before accessing your email.
