Covid-19 (coronavirus disease) is a virus that originated in Wuhan, China in December 2019 and quickly spread across the world. The virus can cause symptoms similar to the flu or a cold. Most people experience mild symptoms, but their are some people who may become seriously ill from the virus. People that experience more severe cases of COVID-19 are most often older adults or people who suffer from other chronic conditions such as Congestive Heart Failure (CHF), Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD), heart disease, etc. Vaccines have been developed and are a safe and effective way to protect yourself from the virus.
