Driver's License Suspensions
If you pay a fine in full that was subject to a driver’s license suspension for failure to pay, a Conviction Status Report (CSR) will be transmitted electronically to the Wisconsin Department of Transportation (DOT). There is a delay between payment and DOT updating its database, after which time, you can reinstate your license either in person at a local DMV office in Wisconsin or on-line.
Civil Judgments
When you pay a debt in full that has a civil judgment entered, you will need to pay a $5.00 satisfaction of judgment fee to satisfy that judgment on the civil lien index.
