Veteran's CVSO Officer

The purpose of the Veteran's Service Office is to provide counseling for the veteran to expose him or her to the available benefits and then to assist in navigating a course through the appropriate channels in order for the veteran to become connected to entitled benefits.

I strongly recommend you take copies 1 and 4 of your DD Fm 214, Report of Separation from Active Service, to the Langlade County Register of Deeds in the Courthouse(800 Clermont Street, Antigo, WI  54409)  and have it recorded.  There is no charge for this service nor is there a charge for certified copies you may need in the future.  Various federal, state, and local agencies with which you will have contact, over your life span, will require certified copies of this document.

You may also wish to consider joining a veteran's organization.  All the larger organizations have local posts or chapters.  If you need assistance with an address or phone number you may contact the post office.
