The Langlade County Department on Aging has a variety of programs that serve seniors 60 years and older or disabled individuals.

The Langlade County Department on Aging is committed to providing programs designed to enhance the quality of life for older adults.  Services provide opportunities for choices, encourages health, wellness and living independently.  Funding for services is provided through federal, state, and county governments, and by private contributions, participant fees and donations.  Programs through the Federal Older Americans Act do not have set fees, but accept donations from participants.  No one is denied service because of an inability to donate.

Our most well know program is the Senior Meal program.  We offer home delivered meals for homebound seniors or those unable to prepare their own meals.  We have congregate senior meal sites in White Lake, Pearson, Elcho and two sites in Antigo.  We ask a $3.00 donation for our congregate and home delivered meals.

The five congregate senior meal sites are as follows:

The Information and Referral (I&R) Specialist offers "one-stop" shopping by referring formal and informal services. The program helps to link people to appropriate agencies and services in Langlade County. If you are an active, outgoing individual and in great health we can find programs and activities to keep you that way. Of, if you need help due to medical, financial, personal or other reasons, the I & R Specialist at the Langlade County Community Center can be reached at 716-627-6347.
